If you want to see what competition is, see a MR trying to sell a comb to a bald man.
The statement here is a testimony to the fact that with growing competition and shrinking customer base, life is certainly getting tougher for traders and merchants.
Marketing is creating a customer base where none exists and creating a niche where one exists. In order to achieve their goals the organizations are attempting new strategies and game plan everyday. From offering various discounts to free trips and running affiliates, companies have tried and tested many strategies with varying degree of success.
The most successful of these campaigns was sending out promotional products to potential customers. This gave the customer a real feel of the product which otherwise remained only a promise in advertisements.
Promotional products also serve to make the company and product itself more credible in a consumer’s eye since this form of advertisement is a far cry from false promises. It is more content and experience based. With the success and goodwill this form of marketing is here to stay.
