A sale is the easiest thing to define and hardest to accomplish. Sale, in easiest terms is a result of trade. Ever since mankind has been in existence trade has been performed. We started off with barter, moved on to livestock and graduated to currencies. So it’s been with us all along.
A sale is accomplished when you are paid in return for a service you provide. Though it is not difficult to provide the service but getting someone to purchase it is the hard bit. Even here technology has come to the rescue of not so gifted salesmen, with various options available to proceed with the transaction. Till date direct sales are the most difficult to execute.

In order to sell something you have to create a need and sustain it to show the value of your product for a potential customer. In order to achieve that you need to be confident about your product and convinced about the customers’ need. Once you achieve this the toughest bit is to translate these emotions into your potential customer. In simple words, you have to sell yourself to sell the product.

Gain the trust of the customer by creating a need, positioning the product as a resource and closing the deal letting the customer know that the need was always there and the service will always be there to take care of his requirements.
